Special Situations
Same kana for two different romanji:
When wa (は) is used as a particale, it is wrapped in spaces, so that it can be distinguised from ha (は).
When e (へ) is used as a particale, it is wrapped in spaces, so that it can be distinguised from he (へ).
Same romanji for two different kana:
When o (を) is used as a particale, it is wrapped in spaces, so that it can be distinguised from o (お).
When nya (んや) is to be read as んや and not にゃ, then an underscore is used to separate the letters. This is not visible in the test, and therefore only relevant when adding words to the database. The same is true for all letter combinations between n and ya, yu and yo.
When ee (ええ) is to be read as ええ and not えい, then an underscore is used to separate the letters. This is not visible in the test, and therefore only relevant when adding words to the database. The same is true for all letter combinations that ends with ee, e.g. kee.
When oo (おお) is to be read as おお and not おう, then an underscore is used to separate the letters. This is not visible in the test, and therefore only relevant when adding words to the database. The same is true for all letter combinations that ends with oo, e.g. koo.
Change between hiragana and katakana in a sentence:
When a word or sentence contains both hiragana and katakana the alphabet is changed using an aterisk (*). This is not visible in the test, and therefore only relevant when adding words to the database.
TODO: Make an option to display the japanese text with or without spaces (only available for hiragana/katakana)
